Twitter is a great social media platform for connecting with current customers, clients, and readers of your site. It’s also a wonderful place to find new readers for your blog and promote your posts.  Twitter is not a good place to try and explain something.  For this reason I would always recommend explaining difficult concepts in a blog post or even on another network like Facebook or Google+.  If you want you can keep sending 140 character tweets and have a mini discussion that way but it will be difficult to really share what you are thinking.
